A 19th-century mansion in the heart of Dimitsana
In the centre of Dimitsana, on a cobbled lane next to the Library and the church of Agia Kyriaki, Kazas Guesthouse occupies a three-storey stone building erected before 1862.
It was the mansion of the Andronikos family, who hosted members of the Filiki Eteria, Russian army officers and fighters of the Sacred Band, and later housed the Agricultural Bank. It was fully restored as a guesthouse, keeping the stone shell and the carved wooden ceiling of the salon, a copy of an old mansion in Stemnitsa.
The HAUFEN® wooden windows, with their blue shutters and the arched glazing of the ground floor, follow the form of the traditional Arcadian house.
