Shutters: technical specifications

Frame profile

Three basic sections: extra frame 47 x 72mm for windows with shutters and no mosquito net; 113 x 72mm for windows with mosquito net and shutters opening 180º, parallel to the wall; 137 x 72mm for windows with mosquito net and shutters opening 90º.

Sash / timber

Classic models (louvres, panels or both): 40mm solid Dark Red Meranti, kiln-dried to 9–11% moisture, high density 450–500 kg/m³; 2-ply laminated Meranti for tall shutters. Boarded (“rabotè”) country models with CNC design (engravings and / or decorative rails): 42mm veneered marine plywood, for reliability and durability.

Standard hardware

Roto Fentro series in black, white or grey included in the base price. Didieffe stainless steel hardware at extra cost. Traditional versions, in Roto Fentro or Didieffe stainless steel, for shutters opening 90º.

Panels

Various panel designs (flat, raised, etc.), in solid wood combined with veneered marine plywood.

Interior shutters are an alternative way of shading. They have a much lighter profile than exterior shutters and hang on the sash of the window, balcony door or entrance door.

Sash profile

23mm thick, or 28mm as a special option.

Timber

Solid Dark Red Meranti, kiln-dried to 9–11% moisture, high density 450–500 kg/m³, or veneered marine plywood.

Hardware

Small “anuba” hinges; the sash locks with clips and an angled knob.

Painting takes place in robotic electrostatic painting facilities:

1. Impregnation

   The window is sprayed and fully flooded with fungicidal preservatives in a flow-coating chamber.

2. Drying

   In a closed room with controlled temperature and humidity, followed by sanding of the surface by machine and by hand.

3. Robotic electrostatic painting

   A four-stage cycle with varnish and colourants or RAL colours. Every stage is followed by the necessary drying time, sanding and strict quality control, up to the final coat.
